Ingredients

  • FOR THE FILLING
  • 6 cups pumpkin, cooked and strained
  • 4 cups dark brown sugar
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 3 1/4 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 3 1/4 tablespoons ginger
  • 3 1/4 tablespoons salt
  • TO MAKE ONE PIE ADD:
  • 4 - eggs
  • 3 cups water

How To Make fresh frozen pumpkin pie filling

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Step 2
    Stir together the filling ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Divide equally into 4 air tight freezer safe containers and store in freezer until needed.
  • Step 4
    To make one 10" pie, defrost one container and beat together with the milk and eggs.
  • Step 5
    Pour into pie shell and bake for 1 1/2 hours until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
