FOR THE FILLING

6 c
pumpkin, cooked and strained
4 c
dark brown sugar
2 c
light brown sugar
3 1/4 Tbsp
cinnamon
3 1/4 Tbsp
ginger
3 1/4 Tbsp
salt

TO MAKE ONE PIE ADD:

4
eggs
3 c
water

How to Make Fresh Frozen Pumpkin Pie Filling

Step-by-Step

  • 1Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • 2Stir together the filling ingredients.
  • 3Divide equally into 4 air tight freezer safe containers and store in freezer until needed.
  • 4To make one 10" pie, defrost one container and beat together with the milk and eggs.
  • 5Pour into pie shell and bake for 1 1/2 hours until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
