Ingredients
- 2 cups canned milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg(optional)
How To Make egg custard pie

Step 1Add enough water to canned milk to make 2 cups and bring milk to scalding(just bubbly around edges)

Step 2beat eggs, sugar and flavorings together well.

Step 3Add milk while beating, mix thoroughly. I use a blender to mix mine in, no worries of eggs cooking while adding hot milk.

Step 4Pour into 9 inch pie crust and bake at lower level of oven @ 375 for 15 minutes. Lower temperature and bake until pie is jiggly.( Looks like it's not done but will finish cooking and firm up as it cools)
