How to Make Easy Strawberry Pie
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Wash strawberries and pat dry. Cut off tops, core them and slice them in half. Place in a bowl. Add sugar and mix well. Let it sit for a couple of minutes. Add strawberry gel and put bowl in refrigerator while you bake the crust.
- Beat the egg white and brush evenly over the sides and bottom of the crust.Bake on a baking sheet until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Completely cool crust.
- Spoon strawberry filing into crust and chill until ready to eat.
* Use cool whip and graham cracker crumbs to garnish.
** If taking to a place outside, do not top with whip cream until ready to serve, it will melt and run every where.
*** You can use 1 tbsp of splenda instead of sugar if you prefer.
