easy chocolate bar pie

Many years ago I had dinner with friends and they served this pie for dessert. I was surprised at how simple it was to make and how good it tasted. I've experimented with it by adding different flavors (mint extract is good!), using different types of candy bars, adding more toasted almonds, using a chocolate graham cracker crust, etc. But this is the basic pie recipe my dear friend turned me on to all those years ago. Dee-lightful!

Ingredients
- 1 - graham cracker pie crust
- 1 - chocolate bar w/almonds (large plank)
- 1 large frozen whipped topping
How To Make easy chocolate bar pie

Step 1Either in the microwave or using a double boiler, melt the chocolate bar until smooth and creamy.

Step 2Fold in the whipped topping (I just use Cool Whip) until well mixed.

Step 3Pour into pie crust and put in freezer until set.
