Ingredients

  • 1-9 inch
    unbaked pie shell
  • 1 c
    applesauce
  • 2 c
    pie-sliced apples, draine (20oz.can)
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter or margerine

How to Make Easy Apple Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine sugar, 1/3 cup brown sugar, spices and applesauce.
    Add apple slices.
    Pour into pie shell.
  2. Combine flour and remaining brown sugar.
    Cut in butter or margerine. Mix until crumbly.
    Sprinkle on top of the apple slices.
    Bake in preheated oven at 400' for 40 minutes.
