This recipe was handed down to me by Mrs Pauline Sharp who founded my childhood church. This recipe appeared in the local newspaper l, Vicksburg Post, on March 26, 1997.

yield 1 (6 oz.) pie

Ingredients

  • 1 - (6 oz.) graham cracker pie crust
  • 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 package (4 serving) instant vanilla flavor pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
  • 16 - mini chocolate eggs

How To Make easter hunt pie

  • Step 1
    In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
  • Step 2
    Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Add water and pudding mix.
  • Step 4
    On low speed, beat until smooth.
  • Step 5
    With wooden spoon or rubber spatula, gently stir in whipped topping.
  • Step 6
    Spoon 1/2 of filling into pie crust.
  • Step 7
    Top with chocolate eggs.
  • Step 8
    Top with remaining filling.
  • Step 9
    Chill for 3 hours.
  • Step 10
    Garnish as desired.
  • Step 11
    Refrigerate leftovers.
