My mother use to make date nut bread, but the best thing she made was DATE PECAN PIE. Love you MOM!

1 - unbaked 9'' pie shall
1 cup dairy sour cream
3 - eggs beaten
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup dates, chopped
1/2 cup chopped pecans
- whipped cream or ice cream

How To Make date pecan pie

Step 1

Combine sour cream, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl mix well.

Step 2

Add dates and pecans. Blend well and pour into pie shell.
Step 3

Bake in 375 degree oven for 30 minutes, or until filling is set and browned.
Step 4

Spread with whipped cream or ice cream, Serve.
