Every time I make this pie people always ask for the recipe. This pie made with the Special Dark Cocoa gives it a full bodied deep chocolate taste. It can be made with regular cocoa for those who want more of a milk chocolate taste. You may top it with whipped cream, Cool Whip or meringue.

Ingredients
- 3 - egg yolks, beaten
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup hershey's special dark cocoa
- 3 cups milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
How To Make dark chocolate cream pie

Step 1Mix egg and sugar together in a heavy saucepan.

Step 2Add cornstarch, cocoa salt.

Step 3Add milk and cook over medium heat while stirring constantly until mixture boils.

Step 4Stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into a 9" pie shell that has been baked.
