This recipe was handed down to me by Mrs Pauline Sharp who founded my childhood church. It appeared in our local newspaper, Vicksburg Post, on March 26, 1997.

yield 1 (6 oz.) pie

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups cold milk
  • 2 - (4-serving size) chocolate or chocolate fudge flavor instant pudding and pie filling
  • 1 tube (8 oz.) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 - (6 oz.) prepared chocolate flavor crumb crust

How To Make creamy chocolate pie

  • Step 1
    Pour milk into large bowl.
  • Step 2
    Add pudding mixes.
  • Step 3
    Beat with wire whisk until well mixed. (Mixture will be thick.)
  • Step 4
    Immediately stir in whipped topping.
  • Step 5
    Spoon into crust.
  • Step 6
    Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.
