Faye's Magic Cream Cheese Pecan Pie

I got this recipe 27 years ago when I was first married from Faye Duman, my boy's Grandma's neighbor in Eugene Oregon. Faye was one of the best cooks I know and her desserts were second to non; this was Faye's favorite pecan pie.

    (8oz.) cream cheese
  • 1/3 c
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1
  • 1
    unbaked pie shell
  • 1 c
    corn syrup
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3
    eggs, beaten until blended
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 1/4 c
    pecans, chopped

How to Make Faye's Magic Cream Cheese Pecan Pie


  1. Combine 8oz.cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. vanilla and one egg. Cream well and pour into a unbaked pie shell.
  2. Blend together in medium mixing bowl, 1 cup corn syrup, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 beaten eggs, and 1/4 cup sugar.
  3. Add 1 1/4 cup pecans.
  4. Pour on top of first mixture.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees close to an hour.
