I got this recipe 27 years ago when I was first married from Faye Duman, my boy's Grandma's neighbor in Eugene Oregon. Faye was one of the best cooks I know and her desserts were second to non; this was Faye's favorite pecan pie.

(8oz.) cream cheese
1/3 c
1/4 tsp
1 tsp
vanilla extract
unbaked pie shell
1 c
corn syrup
1 tsp
vanilla extract
eggs, beaten until blended
1/4 c
1 1/4 c
pecans, chopped

How to Make Faye's Magic Cream Cheese Pecan Pie


  • 1Combine 8oz.cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. vanilla and one egg. Cream well and pour into a unbaked pie shell.
  • 2Blend together in medium mixing bowl, 1 cup corn syrup, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 beaten eggs, and 1/4 cup sugar.
  • 3Add 1 1/4 cup pecans.
  • 4Pour on top of first mixture.
  • 5Bake at 375 degrees close to an hour.
