faye's magic cream cheese pecan pie
I got this recipe 27 years ago when I was first married from Faye Duman, my boy's Grandma's neighbor in Eugene Oregon. Faye was one of the best cooks I know and her desserts were second to non; this was Faye's favorite pecan pie.

Ingredients
- 1 package (8oz.) cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 - egg
- 1 - unbaked pie shell
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 - eggs, beaten until blended
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups pecans, chopped
How To Make faye's magic cream cheese pecan pie

Step 1Combine 8oz.cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. vanilla and one egg. Cream well and pour into a unbaked pie shell.

Step 2Blend together in medium mixing bowl, 1 cup corn syrup, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 beaten eggs, and 1/4 cup sugar.

Step 3Add 1 1/4 cup pecans.

Step 4Pour on top of first mixture.

Step 5Bake at 375 degrees close to an hour.
