I was given this recipe many years ago, this was part of my therapy to learn how to cook again after I sustain a traumatic brain injury.

Ingredients

2 - 9 inch pie crusts
1/3 c
rasberry jam
1/2 c
rolled oats (oatmeal)
1 1/2 c
brown sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 c
semi sweet chocolate chips
2/3 c
milk
2 Tbsp
butter, melted

How to Make COUNTRY PIE

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven: 350 degrees.... Prepare your bottom crust in pan; spread jam on crust in pan. Set aside.
  • 2Mix together in bowl - dry oats, brown sugar, pinch of salt, & chocolate chips.

    Fold in milk & melted butter; spread evenly over jam in pie pan.
  • 3Cover pie with top pie crust....

    Bake for 25 minutes & serve with ice cream if desired.
