Rich and decadent, this chocolate bourbon pie is amazing. We loved the addition of bourbon. It's slight but does add flavor. Once baked, a sugary crust forms on top. The layer of chocolate pecan gooeyness is similar to a pecan pie filling. Served warm with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream, your family is going to fall in love with you even more than they already do. A simple pie to prepare, but your family will think you spent hours making it.

Ingredients For chocolate bourbon pie

    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    corn syrup, light

    bourbon

    chocolate morsels
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans

    unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell
  • whipped cream, sweetened

How To Make chocolate bourbon pie

  • Butter, sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and bourbon mixed in a bowl.

    Beat together butter, sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and bourbon.
  • Chocolate chips and pecans added to the bowl.

    Add chocolate chips and pecans.
  • Batter poured into an unbaked pie shell.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • Pie baking in the oven.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until firm.
