How to Make Cherry Skillet Cobbler
- Prepare and cook in Seasoned Iron Skillet
(Seasoned skillet has been burned off and will not rust) You can bake this in a rectangle baking dish too.
In skillet melt butter; add 1/2 cup of sugar and cherries with juice. Cook until sugar has completely dissolved the mixture bubbles and has slightly thickened.
- In 2 quart mixing bowl mix remaining 1/2 cup of sugar, with flour and milk; spread over cherry mixture in skillet or rectangular baking dish. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
