My dad asked for a "reeses" in a pie form for his birthday, so I came up with this!

Ingredients

9" graham cracker crust
1 c
sugar
3 c
milk
3
egg yolks beaten
1 oz
unsweetened chocolate square
1/2 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c
cornstarch
1 Tbsp
peanut butter
2 tsp
vanilla extract
2 Tbsp
butter
4-6
reeses peanutbutter cups
whipped cream, sweetened

How to Make Candy's Chocolate peanut butter cream pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Beat egg yolks in a small bowl, set aside.

    Add milk, corn starch, sugar, chocolates to sauce pan, bring to boil, stirring constantly.
  • 2Add small amount of hot chocolate mix to egg yolks, blend then add back to hot chocolate mix.
    Bring to boil, stirring constantly for 2-3 more minutes.
  • 3Turn off heat, add peanut butter, butter and vanilla, stir until completely blended.
    Pour into pie crust, put in fridge to cool and set up.
    4-6 hours or overnight.
  • 4Make whipped cream, put on pie.
    Crush cold reeses candies and sprinkle over top.
