Ingredients
- 1 - 9" pie crust
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons bourbon (or 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract)
- 1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups pecan halves
How To Make bourbon and orange pecan pie

Step 1In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, sugar, butter, eggs, bourbon, orange zest, and salt. Mix in the pecans.

Step 2Pour the pecan mixture into the pie crust. Set an oven rack on the lowest position and heat oven to 350 degrees. Place the pie plate on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Step 3Bake until the center is set, about 50 to 55 minutes. Let cool completely to room temperature before serving. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Step 4This pie can be made up to one day in advance and stored, loosely covered with plastic wrap, at room temperature.
