My recipe for a combination cobbler and pie! My son likes cobblers, my husband likes pies...VOILÀ! Pie w/cobbler topping!

Ingredients

  • 1 - deep dish pie crust, homemade or storebought
  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make blueberry pie with cobbler topping

  • Step 1
    Pre-bake bottom pie crust for about 7 minutes in oven @ 400 degrees until air bubbles start forming.
  • Step 2
    Place blueberries into bottom crust. Mix together the other ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl. Stir well, and pour evenly on top of berries.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 400 degrees for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with whipped cream while still slightly warm.
