I only recently tried making my own pie crusts. I was amazed at how easy it was! I hope you enjoy this recipe and bake up a storm!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cold butter
  • 6to 8 tablespoons ice water

How To Make basic and easy pie crust

  • Step 1
    Combine flour and salt.
  • Step 2
    Cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Step 3
    Gradually add water while mixing until it forms a ball.
  • Step 4
    Divide in half.
  • Step 5
    Roll out one half until it fits in a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Step 6
    When placed in dish as base of pie, trim edge with knife.
  • Step 7
    Roll out second half of dough for the top.
