I only recently tried making my own pie crusts. I was amazed at how easy it was! I hope you enjoy this recipe and bake up a storm!

Ingredients

2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
salt
1 c
cold butter
6to 8 Tbsp
ice water

How to Make Basic and easy pie crust

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine flour and salt.
  • 2Cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • 3Gradually add water while mixing until it forms a ball.
  • 4Divide in half.
  • 5Roll out one half until it fits in a 9-inch pie dish.
  • 6When placed in dish as base of pie, trim edge with knife.
  • 7Roll out second half of dough for the top.
