butter, room temperature
1In medium heavy sauce pan combine sugar, flour, salt, milk and half and half
2cook and stir until it is boiling. Boil for 1 minute.
add butter and vanilla boil for 2 minutes
3add egg yolks and some of the liquid. take off heat
4Spread some bananas on the bottom of the baked pie shell. spoon some of the filling and spread around to cover 1st layer. repeat layering until full. Top with whip cream and bananas. Chill
