My great-Aunt Helen was a fantastic cook, and here's another one of her recipes. This is always a hit whenever one of us in the family makes it! Note: You can use cool whip instead of dream whip.

Ingredients
- CRUST
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- FILLING
- 1 package cream cheese
- 1 package dream whip, made according to the directions on box
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 can cherry pie filling
How To Make aunt helen's cherry dessert

Step 1Crust: Mix together and press into a 9x13 dish. bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until light brown in color.

Step 2Filling: Mix ingredients together and spread on cooled crust. Top with cherry pie filling. Keep cool!
