I love smoothies and the combination of cashews and apples is really nice together. This is quite filling so very little goes a long way. You will need a powerful blender like a Vita-Mix for this recipe so the nuts will ground up fine enough to blend with the liquid ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 8 - drops vanilla creme stevia
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch coarse sea salt

How To Make apple pie smoothie

  • Step 1
    Add the cashews and water together and blend until you have a creamy white liquid.
  • Step 2
    Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until totally incorporated.
  • Step 3
    I think you could use Almond milk in this just don't add the water to the recipe as it will be too bland.
  • Step 4
    I found that this is much better cold, so you might want to put it in the fridge for a while before consuming.
