I love smoothies and the combination of cashews and apples is really nice together. This is quite filling so very little goes a long way. You will need a powerful blender like a Vita-Mix for this recipe so the nuts will ground up fine enough to blend with the liquid ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    raw cashews
  • 2 c
    filtered water
  • 8
    drops vanilla creme stevia
  • 1 1/2 c
    unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch
    coarse sea salt

How to Make Apple Pie Smoothie

Step-by-Step

  1. Add the cashews and water together and blend until you have a creamy white liquid.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until totally incorporated.
  3. I think you could use Almond milk in this just don't add the water to the recipe as it will be too bland.
  4. I found that this is much better cold, so you might want to put it in the fridge for a while before consuming.
  5. Enjoy!
