I love smoothies and the combination of cashews and apples is really nice together. This is quite filling so very little goes a long way. You will need a powerful blender like a Vita-Mix for this recipe so the nuts will ground up fine enough to blend with the liquid ingredients.

Ingredients

raw cashews
2 c
filtered water

drops vanilla creme stevia
1 1/2 c
unsweetened applesauce
2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon
1 pinch
coarse sea salt

How to Make Apple Pie Smoothie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Add the cashews and water together and blend until you have a creamy white liquid.
  • 2Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until totally incorporated.
  • 3I think you could use Almond milk in this just don't add the water to the recipe as it will be too bland.
  • 4I found that this is much better cold, so you might want to put it in the fridge for a while before consuming.
  • 5Enjoy!
