This is a recipe that is in a Boston Kitchen Cookbook I sent away for many years ago.I have made it many times and my family really loved it.

egg,well beaten
1/2 c
1/2 c
brown sugar, light
1 tsp
1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
2 1/2 c
apples,peeled,cored and sliced
1/2 c
nuts chopped (opt)

How to Make Andrews's Crustless Apple Pie


  • 1Place beaten egg in large bowl and add sugar,brown sugar and vanilla.Beat well.
  • 2Add flour, baking powder and mix well.
  • 3Add apples and mix well by hand.
  • 4Add nuts and cinnamon and mix.
  • 5Spread mixture in a 9 inch greased, not floured,pie plate.
  • 6Ba ke in 350 degree oven for 30 min. Cool. Cut into wedges and serve with icecream or cheese.
