1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly press pie crust into a 9 inch pie plate.
2In a bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg; spoon into pie plate.
3In a separate bowl, combine sugar and flour; cut in cold butter with a fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle crumbs over pie.
4Bake @ 400 degrees F for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 375 degree F and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes or until topping is browned and apples are tender. If necessary, cover edges of crust with foil to prevent burning. Cool completely before cutting
