Here is another recipe,from the past. A Bakers Angel Flake Coconut Recipe.
Maybe the middle 70's.
I am baking it today for a friend, with a birthday!
She would rather have pie than cake!
If you like easy and coconut then this pie is for you.

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    biscuit mix
  • 1/4 c
    soft butter or margerine
  • 4 medium
    eggs
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1-1/2 c
    flaked coconut

How to Make IMPOSSIBLE MAGIC BLENDER COCONUT PIE

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine milk, sugar, biscuit mix, eggs, butter and vanilla, in a blender.
    Cover and blend for3 minutes on low speed.
  2. Pre-heat oven 350 F.
    Butter a 10 inch pie plate, sides and all.
    Pour batter into the pie plate.
    Let set for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the top gently with the coconut.
    Put in the heated oven ,on the middle rack.
    Bake for 40-45 minutes.
