almond - fudge custard pie

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half cream
- 3/4 teaspoon almond extract ( i use vanilla extract )
- 1 - pastry shell (9 inches), baked
- - whipped cream
How To Make almond - fudge custard pie

Step 1In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cocoa and salt. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, cream and extract just until combined. Stir into dry ingredients until blended. Carefully pour into pastry shell.

Step 2Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

Step 3Garnish with whipped cream and almonds. Store in the refrigerator.
