Ingredients
- 3-1/4 cup flour
- 1T + 1 ts - baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chilled whipping cream
- 1 bag 12 oz chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- - coarse sugar for sprinkling
How To Make the french café chocolate chip scones

Step 1Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and chocolate chips. Add whipping cream and stir until moistened. Divide dough into 2 equal parts. Roll each part into a 6-1/2 inch circle. Cut into 8 wedges with a pizza cutter. Place on a greased baking sheet. Melt butter and brush on scones with pastry brush. Sprinkle with coarse sugar. Bake @ 375º for 20-25 minutes.
