Ingredients
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- fresh herbs, such as thyme, rosemary, mint, etc.
- fresh fruits, such as cranberries, blueberries, etc.
How To Make sugared herbs and fruit

Step 1In a small saucepan over medium heat, make the simple syrup and remove from the heat to cool off, about 20 minutes.

Step 2Dip chosen herbs and/or fruits and coat well, flipping them with tongs.

Step 3Transfer them in a single layer to a baking sheet lined with a wire rack. Allow to dry for 1 hour.

Step 4In a shallow dish, add granulated sugar. Working with one at a time, dip the herb or fruit until nicely coated on all sides.

Step 5Put it back on wire rack to completely dry off for 1 hour before using.
