Ingredients
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mashed (very ripe) bananas
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
How To Make sour cream banana bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Butter loaf pan, set aside. Cream butter and sugar with mixer until light and fluffy.

Step 2Add eggs to butter/sugar mixture and beat to mix well.

Step 3In med bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to the butter mixture, and mix till just combined.

Step 4Add bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Mix to combine. Stir in nuts. Pour mixture into prepared loaf pan.

Step 5Bake about an hour and 10 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Let rest in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a rack to cool.
