snickerdoodle squares
The snickerdoodle recipe is from my Betty Crocker Cooky Book. I wanted a different kind of cheesecake bar, so I decided to try a snickerdoodle crust. These bars are delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup - butter
- 1 1/2 Cups - sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 3/4 Cups - flour
- 2 tsp - cream of tartar
- 1 tsp - soda
- 1/4 tsp - salt
- 2 tsp - cinnamon and sugar
- 2 bricks - cream cheese
- 1 can - sweetened condensed milk
- 2 - eggs
How To Make snickerdoodle squares

Step 1Cream butter, sugar and eggs together.

Step 2Add flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt until well mixed.

Step 3Press half of the mixture in an 8 1/2 by 11 inch pan to form a crust. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.

Step 4Scrape out bowl and set aside other half of snickerdoodle batter. Mix cream cheese, other 2 eggs and sweetened condensed milk together until well mixed. Pour onto partially baked crust.

Step 5Dot mixture with the rest of the snickerdoodle batter. Sprinkle top with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour or until set. Cool before cutting into squares.
