- 1 package marshmallow
- 1/4 cup butter
- - dipping chocolate or wilton candy melts
- - assorted sprinkles
- - sticks and treat bags
How To Make rice krispie treat (dipped in chocolate)
-
Step 1Melt margarine in a 3 quart saucepan over low heat
-
Step 2Add marshmallows; stir until melted and well blended
-
Step 3Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
-
Step 4Press into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Cool and cut into squares.
-
Step 5Once cooled, cut into squares and insert sticks into one end.
-
Step 6Melt chocolate in microwave. It doesn't have to completely melt; as you stir it, the remainder will melt. Don't overcook!
-
Step 7Take 1 treat by the stick and dip one end (at least to halfway point) into chocolate. Immediately dip into sprinkles OR shake sprinkles onto chocolate.
-
Step 8Insert into Wilton Pop Holder (or make your own out of a shoe box) until hardened. Cover with treat bag and tie around stick.
