Ingredients

  • 6 c
    rice krispies
  • 1 pkg
    marshmallow
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • ·
dipping chocolate or wilton candy melts
  • ·
    assorted sprinkles
  • ·
    sticks and treat bags

How to Make Rice Krispie Treat (Dipped in Chocolate)

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt margarine in a 3 quart saucepan over low heat
  2. Add marshmallows; stir until melted and well blended
  3. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
  4. Press into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Cool and cut into squares.
  5. Once cooled, cut into squares and insert sticks into one end.
  6. Melt chocolate in microwave. It doesn't have to completely melt; as you stir it, the remainder will melt. Don't overcook!
  7. Take 1 treat by the stick and dip one end (at least to halfway point) into chocolate. Immediately dip into sprinkles OR shake sprinkles onto chocolate.
  8. Insert into Wilton Pop Holder (or make your own out of a shoe box) until hardened. Cover with treat bag and tie around stick.
