Ingredients

1 c
chopped pecans
1 c
praline liqueur, divided
1 c
butter
1 Tbsp
vanilla
1 lb
dark brown sugar
5
eggs
1/4 c
milk
2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 tsp
bakng powder
cheesecloth for wrapping
foil or airtight tin

How to Make Praline Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 11. marinate pecans in 1/3 cup liqueur.
  • 22. cream butter, vanilla and sugar in large mixing bowl.
  • 33. add eggs and milk.
  • 44. sift flour,cinnamon and baking powder into mixture. add pecans and liqueur.
  • 55. pour into 2 greased 5x9 loaf pans and bake in PREHEATED 300 degrees oven for 60-70 mins
  • 66. cool and wrap in cheese cloth, then poke holes in top of the bread with wooden pick. pour 1/3 cup liqueur over each loaf.
  • 77. wrap in foil or in air-tight tin.
    AGE THREE DAYS IN REFRIGERATOR. ENJOY!
