My dear friend, Connie Lamb gave me this recipe and it has been a real winner! If you only have vanilla whey powder, just add a T. of cocoa powder- that is our favorite option. We often use almond butter for peanut butter so I didn't specify.

prep time
cook time
method No-Cook or Other
yield 25-35 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup nut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown rice syrup
  • 1/2 can whey powder (chocolate is best)
  • 1/4 cup milled flax seed
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips, mini
  • OPTIONAL: COCONUT, DRIED FRUIT

How To Make power balls

  • Step 1
MIX TOGETHER: Then form into small ball, smaller than a walnut. I use a mellon baller or small ice cream scoop.
  • Step 2
Store in container, separate layers with wax paper. Keep refrigerated.
  • Step 3
Should make approximately 25 balls, at 140 to 150 calories per ball. If you find you have made 35 balls, they are 100 calories each.
