pecan pie bars
I love pecan pie! It is one of my favorite fall foods. I love making them but they are hard to tote to parties and gatherings. These are easy to make and very portable.

Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup any color corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 - egg
How To Make pecan pie bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Unroll dough and separate into 2 long rectangles.

Step 3Place in ungreased 13x9 pan and press along the bottom and 1/2" up the sides. Make sure it is firmly sealed.

Step 4Bake for 8 minutes.

Step 5While crust is baking: In a large bowl, combine the pecans, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla and egg.

Step 6Remove crust from oven and pour mixture over it.

Step 7Bake 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 8Cool completely before cutting. Store at room temperature.
