1 pkglarge marshmallows, 16 oz.
8 crice krispies cereal
How To Make oooey, gooey rice krispie bars
1In a large pot, melt butter on medium heat. Add marshmallows until just melted. Turn off heat and stir in Rice Krispies.
2Transfer to buttered 9x12 pan and
pat down with buttered hands. When cool, I cut into bars and place in individual ziplock bags. Then, into a big basket on the counter for quick snacks, lunch bags and backpacks for the week.
3Optional: After completing the bars, melt 1 cup of creamy peanut butter with one package of butterscotch chips in the microwave. Spread over bars and refrigerate just until the topping firms up. Then, store at room temp.
