How to Make Oooey, Gooey Rice Krispie Bars
- In a large pot, melt butter on medium heat. Add marshmallows until just melted. Turn off heat and stir in Rice Krispies.
- Transfer to buttered 9x12 pan and <lightly> pat down with buttered hands. When cool, I cut into bars and place in individual ziplock bags. Then, into a big basket on the counter for quick snacks, lunch bags and backpacks for the week.
After completing the bars, melt 1 cup of creamy peanut butter with one package of butterscotch chips in the microwave. Spread over bars and refrigerate just until the topping firms up. Then, store at room temp.
