Ingredients

  • 8 ounces bag puff popcorn
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

How To Make old dutch caramel corn

  • Step 1
    Put puff corn in roaster
  • Step 2
    In a 2 quart pan cook together for 2 minutes: 1/2 pound butter, brown sugar and corn syrup
  • Step 3
    Add baking soda to mix
  • Step 4
    Pour caramel mix over corn puffs and stir well
  • Step 5
    Place in 250 oven for 45 minutes - stirring every 15 minutes
  • Step 6
    Remove from oven and pour on waxed paper
  • Step 7
    Break apart
