everyone I know seems to like apple dumplings. so I thought this would b great. u can also add a lil ground up rhubarb n it if u like. or use any sweetened pie filling u like hope u like this

Ingredients

  • pre-heat oven 350
  • 3 cans cresants rolls
  • 1 can apple pie filling[sweetened]
  • 1teasp sugar 1/2 teasp cinamon
  • raisins optional
  • FROM SCRATCH APPLE DUMPLING
  • 3 apples,cord and peeled
  • place in hot water [to soften apples slices
  • paper towel to lay wet apple slices on to dry
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • sugar
  • 3 cans cresant rolls
  • 1/2 teasp cinnamon
  • VANILLA SAUCE FOR DUMPLINGS
  • 2 large boxes of vanilla pudding that u cook on stove
  • add about 1 cup milk extra don't let it set u want it on the loose side always but warm
  • add about 1/2 teasp vanilla

    then take 4 cresant doughs and put big ins together press good so it won't leak. place canned apples with rasins in the middle of doughsprinkle a lil cinnamon on it then tak the ends and bring them up to the top and pinch together. u can used a tooth pic place n pre-heated oven til golden brown u may brush with milk and a tesp of sugar on top b4 placing n oven

    from scratch. take dry apples and cut them up place n bowl with raisins [the amount is up 2 u] add sugar and cinnamon to ur taste and mix well] then place the wide ends of cresants together and press together well place apple mixture in middle and then bring the top edges together and pinch well and/or use a tooth pic to keep it shut. u may brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. place n pre-heated oven 18 mins bottom rack til golden brown. u may also sprinkle the inside bttom of dough with a lil flour so it won't b doughie. don't let totally cool b4 pouring vanilla sauce on them

    vanilla sauce: take 2 large boxes of vanilla pudding that is cooked on stove add a extra cup of milk and 1/2 teas vanilla. this should b loose but not liquidize. while dumpling is warm ladle out sauce and pour over dumpling.
