This is a recipe a friend shared with me after she brought this cool, creamy dessert to a potluck. It's easy and delicious!

Ingredients For mud pie
- CRUST

1 cflour
-
1 stickbutter
-
1 cchopped pecans
- FIRST FILLING

1 tspvanilla extract

1 ccool whip
-
1 cconfectioners' sugar

8 ozcream cheese
- SECOND FILLING

2 boxinstant chocolate pudding (can use 2 large or 3 small boxes)

3 cmilk
-
1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make mud pie

1For the crust: mix the flour, butter, and chopped pecans. Press into a 9" x 13" pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely.

2For the first filling: Mix all ingredients and spread atop cooled crust.

3For the second filling: Mix all ingredients and spread atop first filling. Spread the rest of the Cool Whip (from the container that you took one cup out of for the first filling) over the second filling. Chill and enjoy!
