Ingredients For mud brownies

  • 1 c
    butter, melted
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    cocoa powder
  • 4
    eggs,lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • CHOCOLATE FROSTING
  • 4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/3 c
    cocoa powder
  • 3 c
    mini marshmallows

How To Make mud brownies

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together melted butter and cocoa powder. Stir in sugar. Add in beaten eggs and vanilla and mix well.

    Stir in flour, salt, and pecan pieces. Spread batter in a 13x9 pan, greased with nonstick cooking spray.

    Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. While brownies are baking, combine frosting ingredients.

    For Frosting- Beat together powdered sugar, cocoa powder, softened butter and milk, Mix well.

    Once brownies are done baking remove from oven and stir marshmallows into frosting mixture and spread over hot brownies. Let cool completely and then cut.
