If you love maple flavor like I do... here is one recipe that you will enjoy. I serve it in a parfait glass to add a little more sophistication of my original roots. I simply love to dig in it with my long spoon and just savor and enjoy the creamy texture.

Ingredients
- 2 - egg whites
- 11/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 cup walnut pieces
- 1 teaspoon maple flavor
How To Make mousse a l'erable

Step 1Cook sugar, water and cream of tartar over double boiler. Constantly beat the mixture until it forms peaks. Remove from heat add flavor and continue to beat until thick. If you wish, you could add the nuts.
