Mom's Walnut Balls
Taste good also.
Can be made ahead and frozen until ready to use.
How to Make Mom's Walnut Balls
- Mix 1st 3 ingredients.
Stir in flour & walnuts.
(if to soft to handle,chill several hours)
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Roll heaping teaspoon of dough into 1" balls.
Place on ungreased baking sheets.Bake 50-60 minutes until lightly browned.
- Cool on wire racks 30 minutes.
GENTLY shake about 4 balls in a paper bag with Confectioners sugar.
Cool about 30 minutes and repeat shaking process.
- Store in an air tight container, in freezer until ready to use.
