And very inexpensive to make your own homemade colored sugar for decorating your cakes and cookies.

Ingredients

How to Make Making Homemade Colored Sugar (or Splenda)

Step-by-Step

  1. Place desired amount of sugar in a resealable plastic bag.
    Add 1 to 3 drops of food coloring. Squeeze out all air, and massage the color into the sugar until no clumps remain (measurements are just a starting point, use as much sugar as needed and drops of food coloring to get desired color).
  2. NOTE: You can use gel or liquid food coloring. Both work well.
    Just takes a little more massaging the sugars in the bag to soften them up when using liquid food coloring.
  3. Including some "Sugar Eggs" for Gail.
