(1 RATING)
I change a lot of recipes to suit my family. This is one I do differently than most recipes do and it is so good..

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups corn flakes
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup walnuts or pecans
- 4 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
- 4 ounces peanut butter chips
- 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
- 1 can eagle brand sweetened milk
How To Make layered cookie bar
-
Step 1Crush corn flakes and mix with melted butter and sugar and press into a 9X13" pan. Press down. If you don't like coconut you don't have to use it just increase your chips and nuts. On top of the corn flakes mixture sprinkle evenly the coconut, chocolate chips and peanut butter chips and nuts. Pour eagle brand sweetened milk over all the ingredients. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Tip I have found if you do not get the Eagle brand milk at the sides real close it is easier to get them out of the pan. The milk sticks to the edges of the pan real good. Just start pouring it about 1/4" inside the edge. You can use any kind of nuts or chip you like. I took the original recipe my mother had and I keep changing it with the chips and nuts and I have found almost anything you do is still really good.
