Ingredients
- CRUST;
- 1/3 cup crisco
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 medium eggs(reserve 1 egg white for meringue)
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- COCONUT MERINGUE:
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2/3 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 medium egg white
How To Make ice and snow bars

Step 1Crust: Blend Crisco with sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add to the mixture alternately with the milk. Blend thoroughly, add flavoring. Spread 1/4-inch thick in greasedd cookie sheet. Cover with coconut meringue. --- Coconut Meringue: Beat the one(reserved) egg white until soft peaks form. Beat in sugar and add vanilla and coconut. Spread on top of cookie mixture. Bake 30 minutes in 325^ oven. Cut into squares.
