Ingredients
- Cookie Bar ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 4 cup all-purpose flour

- Frosting ingredients
- 5 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 4 to 5 tablespoons of milk
- 3 to 4 drops of red and yellow food coloring

How To Make halloween sugar cookie bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2In a standing mixer or large bowl, add all of the cookie bar ingredients. Cream together until well combined. (I actually started mixing on low, then gradually increased the speed on high. Until all the ingredients were well combined together.)

Step 3Lightly spray a standard size baking sheet with olive oil cooking spray.

Step 4Pour batter onto baking sheet and evenly spread out the batter.

Step 5Bake in oven for 25 minutes, and then insert a toothpick to see if it comes out clean.

Step 6Allow the cookie bars to cool then frost and decorate them with colorful candy sprinkles.
