I often make half of a cake or cookie recipe that uses mixes, so I finally wrote down what amounts to use of cake and instant pudding mixes.

Step 1

CAKE MIX For a recipe using 1/2 of a 15.25 oz. cake mix, measure 1 1/3 cups + 2 1/2 tablespoons of cake mix. (just slightly under 1 1/2 cups of cake mix.)

Step 2

INSTANT PUDDING For a recipe using 1/2 of a 3.4 oz. box of instant pudding, measure 3 3/4 T of pudding mix. (3T + 2 1/4t)
