ABOUT: This is a Holiday Gingerbread based Recipe. It is a nice Gingerbread treat and the perfect thing to bring with you to Holiday Parties! This fun pint size treat makes upwards of a Dozen Truffles!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon all spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • AS NEEDED
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • OPTIONAL
  • - cocoa powder
  • - melted chocolate

How To Make gingerbread truffles

  • Step 1
    1.Beat Molasses, Sugar, and butter and mix in Vanilla until Fluffy for roughly 2 to 3 minutes either by hand or with a Mixer
  • Step 2
    2. Sift together the Dry ingredients – Flour, All Spice, Cinnamon, Ginger, salt
  • Step 3
    3. Combine the two together mixing them at a low speed
  • Step 4
    4. If it’s Crumbly add 1 tablespoon of Milk to your mix
  • Step 5
    5. Mix until it all comes together as a Dough mix
  • Step 6
    6. Chill In the Fridge 30 Minutes
  • Step 7
    7. Roll into Balls and chill in the freezer for 15 minutes
  • Step 8
    8 Optional: leave plain, or roll the balls in Cocoa Powder or Melted Chocolate – if rolling in melted Chocolate I recommend another round of chilling after you dip your balls
  • Step 9
    8. GOOD for up to 5 days if Refrigerated
