This is a Holiday Gingerbread based Recipe. It is a nice Gingerbread treat and the perfect thing to bring with you to Holiday Parties!
This fun pint size treat makes upwards of a Dozen Truffles!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/4 c
    molasses
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    all spice
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • AS NEEDED

  • 1 Tbsp
    milk
  • OPTIONAL

  • ·
    cocoa powder
  • ·
    melted chocolate

How to Make Gingerbread Truffles

Step-by-Step

  1. 1.Beat Molasses, Sugar, and butter and mix in Vanilla until Fluffy for roughly 2 to 3 minutes either by hand or with a Mixer
  2. 2. Sift together the Dry ingredients – Flour, All Spice, Cinnamon, Ginger, salt
  3. 3. Combine the two together mixing them at a low speed
  4. 4. If it’s Crumbly add 1 tablespoon of Milk to your mix
  5. 5. Mix until it all comes together as a Dough mix
  6. 6. Chill In the Fridge 30 Minutes
  7. 7. Roll into Balls and chill in the freezer for 15 minutes
  8. 8 Optional: leave plain, or roll the balls in Cocoa Powder or Melted Chocolate – if rolling in melted Chocolate I recommend another round of chilling after you dip your balls
  9. 8. GOOD for up to 5 days if Refrigerated
