  • 1 or 2 stick
    unsalted butter preferably(or marg if you fell the need)
  • 1 c
    "demerara" (i like pure cane) sugar
  • 2
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    almond meal/flour
  • 3/4 c
    organic golden flax meal
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp
    cinnamon powder (or 1 t extract)
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt (if desired)
  • 3 c
    old fashioned oats
  • 1 c
  • 1/2+/- c
    sheaded or crushed almonds (if desired)

How to Make G/F_Oatmeal Raisin Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies


  1. Cut eggs, sugar & vanilla into cold butter, until creamy. Add dry ingredents, continue cutting. I just use a fork because I don't have a mixer & it works great. Then add oats & raisins, mix well. Make into 2" patties, bake for 7 to 10 minutes in 350 F preheated oven. (About 8 minutes works for me at 7800 ft.)
