Ingredients
- BAR:
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 - egg
- 2 cups all-purposed flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1-2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup water
- GLAZE:
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons milk
How To Make frosted cream

Step 1In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 2Beat in molasses and egg.

Step 3Combine the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with water, mixing well after each addition.

Step 4Pour into a greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake at 400* for 13-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack.

Step 5In a small bowl, combine the confectioners' sugar, vanilla, and enough milk to achieve desired consistency. Spread over cooled bars.
