These strawberry brownies are everything and more... we see why they're famous. They are rich, gooey, and full of strawberry flavor. The glaze on top makes them even richer and is the perfect touch. This is a quick and easy dessert everyone will rave about. You'll find the batter for these strawberry brownies is pretty thick. We found it easiest to pat it into the pan. This recipe is quickly going to become a family favorite.

Ingredients For family savvy famous strawberry brownies

  • 1 box
    strawberry cake mix (no pudding)
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/3 can
    oil (vegetable or canola)
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    water
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla flavor (optional)

How To Make family savvy famous strawberry brownies

  • Oven preheating.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Pan lined with parchment paper.

    Line 8" or 9" pan with parchment; spray with Pam.
  • Batter pressed into pan.

    Add cake mix, eggs and oil to bowl; mix well. Place into pan.
  • Strawberry brownies after they've baked.

    Bake 10-15 minutes or until cracks appear on surface of brownies; do not over bake.
  • Powdered sugar, water, and extract combined to make a glaze.

    Mix powdered sugar, water and extract (optional) until smooth.
  • Glaze poured over the brownies.

    Let brownies cool 10-15 minutes; spread with glaze. Refrigerate brownies for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
