Our youngest daughter is really in to healthy foods and enjoys the energy bars, so I'm sharing this recipe for my homemade ones. Easy and very good.

Ingredients For energy bars

3/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

3/4 choney
-
1 1/2 cpeanut butter, crunchy
-
5 ccrisp rice cereal
-
1 pkg6-oz. mixed dried fruit bits
How To Make energy bars

1Mix sugar and honey in a large saucepan: Bring just to a boil. remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, blend well. Add cereal, stirring carefully until well coated. Stir fruit bits into mixture. Spray a 13x9 pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spread mixture into pan. Cool: cut into bars Store in airtight container.
