creamy pumpkin-pie squares
I love making Sopapilla bars, but wanted to change it up for the holidays. I adapted a couple of my favorite recipes and came up with this. My husband has officially given up pumpkin pie for these.

Ingredients
- 2 cans pillsbury crescent seamless dough
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 2 - eggs
- 15 ounces pumpkin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice (divided)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
How To Make creamy pumpkin-pie squares

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray bottom of 9 X 13 pan with nonstick spray. Lay one Crescent Dough in bottom of pan. Bake for 5 minutes, then remove from oven. Reduce temperature down to 350 degrees F.

Step 2In large mixing bowl, blend Cream Cheese until smooth. Gradually add Sweetened Condensed Milk. Blend in Eggs, Pumpkin, Salt and 2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice. Pour filling on top of Crescent Dough. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven.

Step 3Lay 2nd Crescent Dough over top of filling, stretching to the edges. Pour butter on top of dough. Mix Sugar and 1 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice together and sprinkle over Dough. Bake 25 minutes, or until top is browned and mostly dry.

Step 4Cool completely and store in refrigerator. Cut into 40 squares before serving.
